Historic Inn with loads of charm and modern comfort. Great staff. Good food. Charming Tea. Comfortable beds. I have terrible allergies and I can breath easy there. The rooms are also very quiet and private.

“Perfect for a College Visit”

Good old-fashioned service and quaint feel. We loved this place and will return if we come back to Middlebury. Booked a large room for a family of four. Room was simple and bath was small, but just fine for our one-night visit.

“Right in the middle of town”

Stayed in the Porter House Mansion for 2 nights - it was beautiful, quiet and full of historic charm! Would absolutely recommend it to anyone. The Inn next door is beautiful as well, and you can walk to everything in town easily, which you should certainly do!!

“2 days in Middlebury”

Very nice place. We would definitely come back.
We stayed in the original part of the Inn. We had a very nice room, on the corner with a separate sitting area.
